Liz Bianco — Director of Publicity

Ms. Bianco attended Bennington College & Rutgers University, earning a BA Phi Beta Kappa.  She has spent her entire career in publishing, marketing and publicity.


Most recently, Liz worked as a ghost writer and project editor for clients such as Michael Huyghue of NFL fame, whose book about race in the NFL will be published by Hachette next spring.  She also was a principal in the prominent literary agency, Imprint Agency, representing authors such as Iradj Moini – head of Women For Women International – whose critically acclaimed book, Between Two Worlds: Escape From Tyranny Growing Up In The Shadow Of Saddam was published by Random House.


Liz founded the Powell Consulting Group, a specialty marketing company that worked with schools and libraries for large and small companies, including Publisher’s Group West and Overlook Press.


Among other accolades, Liz was awarded Editor of the Year by Romance Writers of America, and earned recognition for expanding her publisher clients’ sales not only into institutional outlets, but also into major retail outlets such as Barnes&Noble and Toys R Us.
